I haven't made any of the ingots so totally the perfect time to order the pan.

I made the chocolate layer cake last weekend. The ganache gave me some trouble, I'm not sure what I did wrong but had to throw away the 1st batch (the cocoa butter separates from the chocolate and the whole thing became unedible and impossible to spread). I hope I don't scare anyone away... just be careful with this one :).Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11717898669803221775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8882070718279731833.post-28552868923286124962010-08-25T17:07:52.546-07:002010-08-25T17:07:52.546-07:00Congrats, Jennifer!Congrats, Jennifer!Lois Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03560321506489546079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8882070718279731833.post-35018394881482534042010-08-25T16:05:13.319-07:002010-08-25T16:05:13.319-07:00Whew. Nice work Jennifer.

The 'tiny Maine blueberries' did deserve to be showcased, smuggled as they were in a friend's duffel all the way from...well, Maine. They were given to me in exchange for an anniversary cake, a fun chance to reprise the very first (and so far only) wedding cake I ever made.

Having some oven troubles, but should be able to make the chocolate layer cake at the bakery.Katyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04837602358691420117noreply@blogger.com
